Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed with regards to the higher quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The service status sassa level designed for intervention ordeals a high influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that Workplace to attend here to all people who stop by a sassa status check service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to allow the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
